Deep garnet with a velvet fragrance of ripe red fruits topped by a savory nip of anise seed and new leather. The body is extracted, highly concentrated, but supple, too, its tannins stained by black plums and blackberries. The finish is chocolaty and minty with a hint of coffee, but it’s not too-too. The wine feels youthful and vigorous, happy.
